Abstract

1532121 Variable resistors WILHELM RUF KG 3 March 1977 [18 June 1976] 08998/77 Heading HIS [Also in Division H3] In a control unit for a receiver including a tuning unit 4, Fig. 1 having tuning control elements 9 for the control of capacitance diodes, a wave-change switch 10, a housing 7 of insulating material, a printed circuit 8, Fig. 2, forming the rear wall of the housing and selector elements 3 such as keys each associated with one of the tuning control elements, on each actuation of one of the selector elements an associated pair of parallel resilient contacts 21, which have fixed end portions which extend into openings in the printed circuit board to electrically contact elements of the printed circuit, contact respective ones of two parallel conductor bars 22. A switch actuator 17 is guided to be longituidnally displaceable under spring action 16 in diagonally arranged grooves in the hollow interior of a push rod 3. An interlock mechanism ensures that only one key is actuated at any one time.
