Abstract

1532003 Pipe cutting apparatus WILLIAM PRESS & SON Ltd 2 July 1976 [17 July 1975] 30110/75 Heading B3T Pipe cutting apparatus comprises a frame 10 formed by separable arcuate portions 13, 14 which are connected to encircle the pipe to be cut, rollers 22 being spaced around the frame to engage the surface of the pipe and permit manual rotation of the frame around the pipe, a screw adjustable slide 11 on the frame supports a cutting tool 43 which cuts the pipe as the frame is rotated. The frame portions have their ends spaced apart and are connected by bolts 17 to permit some adjustment of the frame to accommodate variation in the pipe sizes and to allow the frame to be displaced longitudinally along the pipe. Radially extending rods 12 attached to the frame facilitate its rotation about the pipe.
