1530612 Troughed conveyer belts LUCAS ELECTRICAL Ltd 25 March 1976 [11 April 1975] 14916/75 Heading B8A The upper run of a troughed conveyer belt is supported in a trough shaped support 15, the edges of the belt passing along longitudinally extending recesses 19 of the support 15. As shown, the lower run of the belt is linear, but it may also be of inverted trough-shaped disposition. Transverse ribs may be formed on the working face of the belt to enable the latter to carry loads uphill.
