Abstract

1529477 Humidifying devices M P MINES and W PARKER 23 Aug 1977 [1 Sept 1976] 36104/76 Heading F4S A humidifying device which in use is mounted (e.g. on a wall 16) above a space-heating radiator (not shown), comprises a body portion 10 with a hinged lid 20 which when closed forms a shelf, and which rests on spacers 30, these latter defining between the underside of the lid and the upper edge of a front wall 12 of the body, an aperture through which vapour from a liquid (e.g. water) contained in said body portion (e.g. in trays 38) can pass to the surrounding atmosphere. The members 10, 20 are preferably aluminium extrusions; and the trays 38 are of metal or plastics. The shelf-forming upper surface of the lid may be tiled.
