Abstract

Novel polyether polyureides containing polyoxyalkylene connected to the ureide units are prepared by reacting polyoxyalkylene containing a terminal primary amino group with a compound which forms ureide groups at temperatures in the range from 50 - 200 DEG C in a molar ratio of about 1 mol of urea per terminal primary amino group. The compounds are excellent additives for epoxy resins.
