Abstract

1528834 Sealing & coating anodized Al YOSHIDA KOGYO KK 3 March 1976 [6 March 1975] 8402/76 Heading C7B Anodized Al (alloy) is sealed at 80‹C or higher for at least 10 minutes in an aqueous solution containing only phosphorus compound(s), followed by application of a coating e.g. of a resin. Various phosphorus oxy-acids and salts are listed. The (resin) sealed coating is crack-resistant when the resin coating is cured above 140‹C.
