Abstract

1528511 Hose fittings METALLSCHLAUCHFABRIK PFORZHEIM 19 Jan 1976 [22 Jan 1975] 1902/76 Heading F2G A corrugated hose 1 with braiding 2 has a sleeve 4 and a fitting 3 soldered to its end so that no closed cavities are present in the solder in the corrugations. This may be done by filling the corrugations in the region of the sleeve 4 with a temperature-resistant mass 5, e.g. a mixture of asbestos fibres and binder, a ceramic material, a cast resin, or with a moulded collar or rings or by axially compressing or radially collapsing the end corrugations to provide substantially smooth external surface to the hose end, or by forming the hose with a smooth cylindrical end. The braiding 2 is trapped between the hose 1 and the sleeve 4.
