Abstract

1528412 Saucepan stabilizers L WRIGHT 22 Oct 1975 [24 July 1974] 32612/74 Heading A4A [Also in Division F4] A device to stabilize a saucepan &c. comprises a framework 15 having at least one vesselreceiving aperture 20, 21, 22, 23, and a plurality of downwardly depending members 18, 25 to support the framework in spaced parallel relation to a support surface. As shown, the wire mesh framework is to be secured to the hob 10 of an electric or gas cooker and is provided with apertures 20, 23 surrounded by members 25 to grip the saucepans. Other apertures 21, 22 are not surrounded by the depending members and the various apertures 20-23 are of different diameters. The framework may be provided with channel-like depressions 27, 28 and with a clip 29 to receive the handles of saucepans or the flex of an electric kettle. It is stated that the framework may be provided with a thermally non-conductive base so that the device may support hot-vessels on, for example, a table, or the framework may be of a size, with a single aperture, for receiving one vessel only.
