Abstract

888,704. Cooker guards. HAGGART, M. Nov. 25, 1960 [Nov. 26, 1959], No. 40203/59 Class 126. A device for retaining a cooking vessel on a cooker comprises a projecting member adapted to be secured to the handle of the vessel and to be inserted in a complementary socket on the cooker. As shown, Fig. 1, a frame 1 supported by blocks 4 resting on the cooker top 2 carries sockets 5-11 mounted at differing heights and associated with grooves in the frame where necessary to receive the handles of the cooking vessels. Each socket is dimensioned to receive a rod or tube 12 mounted by releasable means such as a "Jubilee" (Registered Trade Mark) clip on a vessel handle 13a.
