Abstract

1528002 Cable clip UNITED-CARR Ltd 26 March 1976 [26 March 1975] 12758/75 Heading E2B A plastics clip comprises a base 13 with two upstanding resilient lugs 17, 18 each lug having a rib 19 and 20. Two flat walls 21, 22 extend upwardly from the base 13 and have notches 25, 26 to receive a cable 12 (Fig. 6). An arm 14 is joined to the lug 17 by a flexible hinge 27 and comprises a plug portion 28 with shoulders 30, 31 which snap behind the ribs 19, 20 on the lug when the plug is pressed down between the walls 21, 22, the plate portion 29 resting on the edges 23, 24 of the walls. The cable 12 lying across the notches is thus trapped between the walls and the plug (Fig. 6). Stud 15 enables the base to be fixed to a support.
