Abstract

Weather screens.-A wind-screen for motorcycles, side-cars, &c. is held in an adjustable position by means of connecting-links 4 pivotally attached to brackets 1, 11 respectively secured to the screen and car &c. Serrated engaging members are provided on the brackets and link ends round the locking-pins 7, and spring washers 9 are arranged under the securing-nuts 8, whereby the screen may be secured at the desired angle and position relative to the passenger. One of the links 4 may have a radial slot or opening at one end so that it may be readily disconnected, to enable the passenger to pass into or out of the car. In a modified construction, the wing-nuts 8 are formed with conical extensions engaging similarly-shaped sockets to secure the parts in the locked position.
