Abstract

1527609 Ridge tiles REDLAND ROOF TILES Ltd 7 Oct 1975 [8 Oct 1974] 41063/75 Heading E1B [Also in Division B5] A concrete ridge tile 1 is grooved 6 at one end for engagement by an internal web 7 on the adjacent, overlying tile. As described, a roof truss 9 (Figure 2) supports battens 10 and a ridge board 1.3 The gap between ribbed particles 11/14 is covered by overlapping ridge tiles 1 held in place by nails 15 passing through a tile aperture. The webs 7 of the ridge tiles seat in recesses in the adjacent grooves 6, while the depending limbs 2, 3 of the ridge tiles include apertures 8 for receiving the ribs 14 of the particles. Moulding of the ridge tiles is described (see Divisions B4-B5).
