Abstract

1526581 Fishing rods D L BARNETT 9 Feb 1977 [14 Feb 1976 12 Aug 1976] 05885/76 and 33512/76 Heading A1A A fishing line 9 is threaded through a hollow rod 1 by insertion through a member 8, providing a side opening into the rod, to emerge through an opening in the rod tip. Line support eyes 16 are spaced along the rod interior so that the line, when taut, does not rub on the rod and a reinforcing sleeve is secured to the rod adjacent member 8. The plastics member 8 may have an eye of stainless steel.
