Abstract

1525864 Particulate vinyl chloride resins STAUFFER CHEMICAL CO 16 Sept 1975 19992/78 Divided out of 1525863 Headings C3L and C3M Vinyl chloride resins comprising vinyl chloride emulsion resin particles which have been thermally agglomerated in an air stream, and which are characterized by the ability to disperse in a plasticizer, may be prepared by spray drying a vinyl chloride emulsion resin latex at an outlet temperature of 90-130‹ F. The resulting resins may be added to vinyl chloride emulsion resin latices and the resulting mixtures spray dried to yield resins of increased particle size.
