Abstract

1523197 Presses ROLLS-ROYCE Ltd 16 May 1977 [21 May 1976] 21016/76 Heading B5F [Also in Division B3] Pressure is applied to articles being brazed together by a metallic pressure bag 27 containing an inert gas (e.g. argon) which, in use, is clamped in a clamping device 40 between the articles having a joint line 36 and, for example, an eccentric roller 30 such that when the temperature is increased the inert gas expands to increase the pressure between the articles.
