1522658 Compositions containing noscapine FISONS CORP 17 Dec 1975 [19 Dec 1974] 51672/75 Heading A5B A noscapine antitussive formulation comprises a therapeutic amount of both free and salt-form noscapine in an acidic aqueous formulation, the pH of the formulation being above 3.0, the formulation containing as cosolvents an amount of a pharmaceutically acceptable alkanol and of a pharmaceutically acceptable polyol sufficient to dissolve the free noscapine, the formulation containing up to 20% by volume of the alkanol and up to 25% by volume of the polyol.
