Abstract

1522090 Edging strip for a tiled roof MONIER COLOURTILE PTY Ltd 26 May 1976 21786/76 Heading E1B An edging strip 1 for the gable ends of a tiled roof includes in use a vertical face plate 12; an upwardly facing rectangular channel 21 formed between a lower part of the face plate and a vertical flange 13 behind it; upper and lower flanges 16, 14 which pass over and under the edge of the tiles; a series of spaced attachment clips 3, each having a horizontal arm 31 which passes between the lower flange 14 and the tiles and engages the inner faces of the face plate 12 and the upper flange 16; and fastening means for securing the horizontal arm 31 to a tiling batten. The clips have channels 33 which fit within the channel 21 on the edging strip. When edging strips are butted end to end a cover strip 2 is used. An angularly adjustable apex cover strip, Fig. 4 (not shown), and a stop end cover, Fig. 5 (not shown) are described. A prefabricated large board moulding 4 may be mounted beneath the edging strips.
