Abstract
1521837 Electronic alarm timepieces DAINI SEIKOSHA KK 1 Oct 1976 [14 Oct 1975] 40826/76 Heading G3T In a digital alarm timepiece the actual time of day and the pre-set alarm time, both on a 24-hour basis, can be selectively displayed on the same display devices. When a switch 24 is closed to W, AND gates 26, 29, 34 pass the contents of secs, mins, hours counters 3, 5, 7 to display drivers 27, 31 and 37 respectively, to display the actual time of day. When the switch 24 is closed to A the above AND gates are blocked and AND gates 30, 35 are enabled to pass the content of the pre-set mins and hours alarm time counters 14, 16 respectively to the drivers 31, 37 to display the pre-set alarm time. The alarm time in counters 14, 16 is pre-set on a 24 hour basis by manipulation of hours and minutes setting switches (not shown) connected to terminals 8, 9 respectively. When the pre-set alarm time coincides with the actual time, coincidence circuits 19, 20 both produce "1" signals. Consequently AND gate 21 output causes a driver circuit 22 to activate a buzzer.
