1519438 Dielectric liquids RHONE-POULENC INDUSTRIES 7 July 1975 [28 May 1975] 33176/77 Divided out of 1513675 Heading C5F [Also in Division C2] A liquid dielectric composition comprises a known dielectric liquid and at least one monocyanoterphenyl. A mixture of isomeric monocyanoterphenyls may be used. The first-mentioned component may be a mineral oil, castor oil, a chlorobiphenyl, an ester of an organic acid, an aromatic hydrocarbon or an alkylated aromatic hydrocarbon. The composition may also contain a substance, e.g. a silicone oil, that will lower the surface tension, an antioxidant, an epoxide or more than one of these.
