Abstract

The sealing ring, which is fitted into the groove in the double-acting piston (26), has a central part (10) with outer sealing lips (12, 14). The inner sealing lips (20, 22) are connected to central part (10) by a flexible web (18). The pressure medium presses the outer lips (12, 14) against the wall of the cylinder (28) of a piston-cylinder unit and the inner sealing lips (20, 22) against the bottom of the groove, the sealing ring thereby being held fast in the groove. <IMAGE>
