1518799 Winding pile fabric webs UNITED KINGDOM ATOMIC ENERGY AUTHORITY 29 Oct 1975 [30 Oct 1974 17 Jan 1975] 47013/74 and 02182/75 Heading B8R A web of pile fabric 2 is wound into a roll which has consecutive convolutions spaced from each other by providing the longitudinal edges of the fabric web with releasably secured spacer strips 1, each formed of a base 4 supporting a corrugated strip 3 where height is greater than the thickness of the pile. The spacer strips may be secured to each other in their respective convolutions using, e.g. staples.
