Abstract

1518049 Mounting vehicle door hinges DAIMLER-BENZ AG 19 Nov 1976 [29 Nov 1975] 48389/76 Heading E2F A vehicle door hinge has leaves 14, 15 which are secured respectively to a vehicle door pillar 7 and a vehicle door 17; a mounting plate 8 being welded to pillar side walls 9 and 18 and projecting at 16 to adjustably receive a leaf mounting bolt 26 in an oversize hole 24. The bolt 26 is received in a nut 25 welded to a plate 23 and adjustment is possible in the plane of the portion 16 of the plate 8. The leaf 15 is also adjustably secured to the door 17 and allows adjustment in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle.
