Abstract

151,523. Antinoro, E. Feb. 4, 1920. Fusible cut-outs; fuse boxes.-A magazine fuse comprises a rotatable plug 6 bored for the fuses and furnished with contact plates 8, 14, 15 on the peripheral surface of the plug which co-operate with fixed contacts 3, 19 in the base of a box. The base has a recess 11 to accommodate a reduced portion of the plug, and the box has a cover, retained by spring catches 13, in which is a hole to take the head of the plug. According to Fig. 2, the plug is bored diametrically at different levels for the fuses, fixed terminals 3 being provided at each side of the cylinder and a plug being installed for each pole of the circuit. As shown in Figs. 5 and 6, the plug is bored longitudinally, and a pair. of fixed terminals 3, 19 is provided at opposite sides so that one plug may serve both poles.
