Abstract

1514930 Hair treatment M MARRAFFA and R BRUNAS 11 Sept 1975 [19 Dec 1974] 55058/74 Heading A4V Hair is treated with, for example, a setting lotion, using an applicator 16, the liquid being collected from the hair using a tray section 14. As described, the applicator 16 has outlet holes (30) at its distal end and the liquid is ejected through the holes on to the hair from a plastics bottle 12 by squeezing the bottle. The applicator 16 and the tray section 14 are pivotted together at 18 and screwed to the top of the bottle so that the device may be used in one hand. One-way valves (34, 36) control the flow of liquid ejected from the bottle and returning to the bottle from the tray section.
