Abstract

1514087 Cooling dynamo-electric machines WESTINGHOUSE ELECTRIC CORP 24 June 1976 [6 Aug 1975] 26257/76 Heading H2A In a dynamo-electric machine cooling system similar to that disclosed in Specification 1,362,864, the coolant is emitted as a diffuse, fan-like spray from an aperture in the side of each nozzle. This is said to improve the cooling and reduce the damage, by erosion, to the machine insulation.
