Abstract

1514021 Collapsible box pallet; containers SCHNEIDER-LEICHTBAU GmbH 19 June 1976 25531/76 Headings B8H and B8P A collapsible box pallet comprises a base 1 with sockets 5 at each corner, a pair of end walls 3 having end pillars 4 with spigots 6 to engage in the sockets and side walls 7 suspended from the end walls. Each spigot has a lateral projection 11 which extends in the direction of the side walls and engages in a recess 12 in the socket, and a side 13, opposite that having the projection, which is flat and downwardly inclined towards the face having the projection. The upper face 11a of the projection and/or the corresponding face of the recess may be undercut to facilitate retention of the spigot in the socket and the socket may taper from both ends to a central point to facilitate insertion of the spigot.
