Abstract
1513839 Separating particles from gas AIR PRODUCTS & CHEMICALS INC 5 April 1977 [5 April 1976] 13728/76 Heading B1R Particles are removed from a gas entering venturi tube 4 by jets of molten metal, e.g. tin, lead or mercury, ejected from orifices 3 and atomized by the gas stream, the gas and metal then being passed to cyclone 7 and settling vessel 8, where the particles pass over weir 9 into lock hopper 10 and the molten metal is recirculated by pump 2.
