Abstract

1513559 Selective printing PITNEY BOWES LTD 13 Oct 1975 41809/75 Heading B6F In a printer having printing members 19 selectively alignable with the surface of a drum 11 for printing on documents 13, a bail 25 is urged by rod 33, against the action of spring 36, to engage one of the notches 20 between the members 19. This locks the members 19 against any type selection movement. A cam 41 moves the rod 33 so that whenever the drum 11 is out of its home, i.e. type selection, position, the bail locks the members 19 against movement.
