1512680 Generating combustion products under pressure ROTHENBERGER GmbH & CO WERKZEUGE UND MASCHINEN KG 19 Dec 1975 [27 Dec 1974] 52240/75 Heading F1L An oxygen producer, e.g. for use with welding or cutting equipment, comprises casing 10 containing a tubular cartridge holder 12 and defining therewith a storage space 21 for oxygen produced by the combustion of cartridges 19. The oxygen passes via a filter 17 and through a drying chamber 18 to a pressure reducing valve 23 and outlet 24. The pressures within space 21 and at outlet 24 are sensed by gauges 22, 26 respectively. Valve 27 relieves excess pressure. The producer may include a charging lock enabling further cartridges to be inserted into casing 10 without loss of storage pressure. The casing may contain a cartridge magazine.
