Abstract

1512206 Screening apparatus WILFRED FOULGER Ltd 11 March 1976 27750/74 Heading B2H [Also in Division B8] Apparatus for sorting stones, soil etc., from root crops comprises a cage 1 pivotably mounted about a horizontal axis 5 to arms 4 of a tractor and having a gate 8 pivotally mounted about a pin 9 for movement between an open position, whereat the root crops may be scooped into the cage and a closed position whereas the cage may be rotated by a motor 6. In an alternative embodiment Fig. 2 (not shown) the cage is rotated by a chain driving a sprocket (32) mounted on the cage (20) and the gate is formed in two parts (33), (37) arranged to move simultaneously.
