Abstract

1511659 Pick up arm cueing and positioning device BSR Ltd 8 Dec 1975 [18 Dec 1974] 54808/74 Heading G5R A pick-up arm positioning and cueing device comprises a body 10 and stem portion 11 mounted for vertical movement by cueing means (not shown), a member 12 horizontally extending from the body for supporting a rubber belt 24 which extends over idler pulley 21 and drive worm wheel 23 and a shaft with worm gear 26 driven, e.g. by an electric motor which engages the worm wheel and drives the belt. In its raised position the upper run of the belt engages and lifts the pick up arm, the belt is then driven to move the arm to a required position and the body then lowered to position the pick up arm stylus at the required position.
