Abstract

1511076 Self-locking nuts FUJI SEIMITSU MFG CO Ltd 5 May 1976 [26 Dec 1975] 18426/76 Heading F2H A lock-nut 2 has an annular recess 7 in the inner periphery of one end face and, fixed to said end face, a resilient wire clamp 5 having portions to engage in the thread groove of a bolt 1. The clamp 5 may be fixed by caulking an annular rib 3 on the end face, Figs. 1, 2 or by welding, Fig. 8. The wire has a rounded cross-section. Eight planforms for the clamp are described.
