Abstract
1510799 Filters B V NERATOOM 24 April 1975 [24 April 1974] 17084/75 Heading BID A filter comprises coaxial spaced hollow metallic filter elements (e.g. cylindrical or frusto-conical), at least one filter element other than the innermost element, having section(s) 7 which offer lower resistance to liquid flow than other section(s) 6 thereof. As shown the filter elements, each comprise a cage I wound with steel gauze, the innermost cage being wound over its. whole length and the other cages over only part of their lengths. Spacers may be provided between the elements. The filter may be used in apparatus which has means for cooling the liquid being supplied to the filter.
