1510179 Cooling dynamoelectric machines SKF INDUSTRIAL TRADING & DEVELOPMENT CO BV 5 Dec 1975 [6 Dec 1974] 50021/75 Heading H2A An annular stator with axially extending laminations 7 has an annular series of heat conducting elements 8 arranged with one element 8 between each adjacent pair of laminations 7, the elements 8 each having a radially inner surface adjacent to, or defining in part, the central bore of the stator. The elements 8 may be solid rods, as shown, or hollow pipes (9), (10) or channel-forming plates) (11) as in Figs. 2, 3, and 4 (not shown). The elements may be forcibly air-cooled in currents 12 (13), (14), (15).
