Abstract

1506280 Roll holder P MASSJUK and R POWELL 17 Sept 1975 38205/75 Heading B8M A roll holder 1 has a support 7 for mounting a roll, a spring-loaded friction disc 8 slidable on the support 7 for braking uncontrolled rotation of the roll, an opening for the insertion of a roll into the holder which is closed by a door 4, observation holes 13 for observing the quantity of roll inside the holder 1, and a severing member 12 adjacent an opening 10 through which roll material can be dispensed and severed. The door 4 is kept shut by a tension spring 5 and is fitted with a key-controlled lock 6. The holder 1 is fitted to a support or wall by screws cooperating with holes 2.
