Abstract

1505474 Measuring vehicle load WERKZEUGMASCHINENFABRIK OERLIKONBUHRLE AG 12 July 1976 [26 Aug 1975] 28859/76 Heading G1N [Also in Division F2] A load gauge 19 for varying the braking effect on a rail vehicle in proportion to the load is mounted between two yokes 18, 20, one being attached by chain links 13, 15 to the vehicle leafspring, and the other being pivotally mounted at 21, to a hanger 16 on the vheicle body. The two yokes are connected by tongues 23 and grooves 24 so that they are both swingable about the pivot 21. The pivot 21 may extend into slots in the yoke 18 so that it may rest in the bottom of the slots if the load gauge is removed.
