Abstract

Telephonic relays and repeaters.-In a wireless receiving apparatus, means are provided for selectively amplifying currents of the desired acoustic frequency. A telephone 157, Fig. 4, acts on an armature K at one end of a stretched wire 160, the opposite end L of which operates a transmitter 158. Dampers 159 comprising blades dipping into liquid are placed at the vibration nodes of the wire, as to attenuate vibrations of other than the desired frequency.
