Abstract

1502402 Portable road markers WINGARD Ltd (M G Lewis) 18 Aug 1976 [25 Sept 1975] 39294/75 Heading E1G [Also in Division B7] A collapsible conical or pyramidal warning marker for use on roads or as a buoy is shown developed, and comprises a triangular or other base 8 joined to a flexible side panel or panels 6 terminating in an apex and made of double-walled material joined by seams 2 which define an inflatable chamber or chambers 3 which stiffen the marker when inflated and have an inlet valve 5. The marker may have an integral or detachable weight and be of phosphorescent plastics. In the roll-up pyramidal marker shown the chambers 3 comprise triangular sleeves interconnected through gaps 4 in welded seams 2 leaving flat centre panels 6 one of which has a slot 7 for ballast.
