1501514 Intermittent web feeding apparatus SAMCO-STRONG Ltd 22 May 1975 [6 June 1974] 22054/75 Heading B8R An apparatus for intermittent feeding of a web 84 comprises a pair of feed rollers 28, 30, the roller 28 being associated drivingly with a belt 50 which is trained over guide rollers 46, 33 and arranged to be displaced in one direction by a clamp 58 which is reciprocated by a fluid cylinder assembly 52. To drive the rollers through an adjustable predetermined angular distance the clamp 58 is clamped at a vertically lower end of the belt 50 and then displaced upwardly. At the upper end of its displacement the clamp is released for idle return stroke whose length is controlled by an adjustable stop 70.
