Abstract
1500991 Transistor switching circuits RANSBURG CORP 14 Jan 1975 [14 Jan 1974 (2)] 1628/75 Heading H3T [Also in Division H2] To determine whether the rate of change of an input signal (from terminal 26a) exceeds a threshold, the signal level during a first time interval is stored (28, 29), and the signal level during an immediately succeeding time interval is then subtracted (32) from the stored level to determine whether the difference exceeds a threshold, the store-subtract sequence taking place repetitively. Clock pulses derived from the mains supply render transistors 57, 58 conductive alternately, and these in turn render transistors 61, 62 effective alternately to amplify the input signal. The load circuit of transistor 62 includes a storage capacitor 66, whilst the output of transistor 61 is inverted so that the signals from the two transistors are subtracted at the input of amplifier 73. A monostable 79 is triggered if the amplifier output exceeds a threshold.
