Abstract

1499121 Lamps E C WALKER 22 Jan 1976 [12 Feb 1975] 5963/75 Heading F4R [Also in Divisions G4-G6] In a device for displaying changing colours, a disc 35 having transparent or translucent segments of different colours is rotated stepwise between a light source 34 and a central aperture 33 in a plate 32, the bunched ends of sets 14, 16, 17 of glass fibres being mounted closely above aperture 33. Drive for disc 35 is provided by a motor 43 in the base 30 of housing 1 through an elongated spring 44 transmitting drive to a plate 38 with recesses 39 engaged successively by a detent spring 41, plate 38 being mounted on a collar 36 to rotate with disc 35.
