1497955 Granulating molten materials PLAST - UND ELASTVERARBEITUNGS - MASCHINEN - KOMBINAT KARL - MARX - STADT VEB 2 March 1976 [24 March 1975] 08228/76 Heading B5A An under-water granulator, which utilizes granulator cutters, has a plate with a plurality of nozzle bores 2 enlarged in diameter at one end to receive an electrical heating body 7 which has an axially arranged passage 6 the diameter of which is the same size as that of the nozzle bore 2 at the outlet end. The heater prevents premature cooling of the bore when molten thermoplastic substances are fed in direction of arrow 14.
