Abstract

1497224 Magnetizable compositions AGFAGEVAERT AG 26 March 1975 [27 March 1974] 12646/75 Heading C3R A magnetizable storage medium comprises a flexible support and pigment- and bindercontaining layer(s), wherein the binder consists, by wt., of: #70% of an acid-catalysed reaction product of a polyurethane elastomer free from terminal -OH and -COOH groups, and a melamine-formaldehyde or benzoguanamineformaldehyde condensate; and #30% of a non-reactive polymer. The magnetizable pigment may be, e.g. Fe 2 O 3 , Co-doped Fe 2 O 3 , or CrO 2 , in amount 65-77% wt. based on total layer; optionally non-magnetizable pigment may be present, e.g. silica or C black, e.g. 10-35% wt.
