Abstract

1496290 Fertilizer containing slag KALI-CHEMIE AG 5 May 1975 [21 May 1974] 18829/75 Heading C1B A fertilizer for soils poor in lime comprises a uniform mixture of discrete particles of a calcined alkali metal phosphate (defined) and slag from an LD steel making process which slag has not more than 8% phosphate (as P 2 O 5 ), up to 50% lime (as CaO) and up to 10% silica. The phosphate: slag ratio may be from 95:5 to 5:95. Preferably 96% of the mixture passes a 0À63 mm. mesh DIN screen and at least 75% passes a 0À16 mm. screen.
