1495021 Cutting apparatus M MYERS & SON Ltd 4 June 1975 [7 June 1974] 25307/74 Heading B4B A rotary trimmer comprises a rotary cutter blade 10 for co-operation with an elongated fixed blade 11, and a guard member 13 having a surface 14 which, in use, prevents the finger of the user being inserted beneath the rotary blade. The guard may be formed from a separate plastics member held, by spring clips 19, in a U-shaped steel member 12 constituting the fixed blade; alternatively, the guard may be formed integrally with the fixed blade.
