1494945 Counting apparatus NEDERLANDHAARLEM FABRIEK VAN ELECTRISCHE APPARATEN BV 19 March 1975 [20 March 1974] 11448/75 Heading G4D A counting apparatus for counting events such as the passing of vehicles comprises a plurality of pulse counters and a corresponding plurality of memories together with a clock which causes the values in the counters to be stored in the memories at predetermined intervals, the memories being mounted in detachable carriers so they can be removed when full and replaced by fresh memories. The full memories then being read by a computer to derive required statistical information. The memories may be large shift registers capable of storing a large number of consecutive counts together with information regarding time and place of count &c.
