1492591 Pipe coating apparatus IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 17 Feb 1975 [21 Feb 1974] 7875/74 Heading B2L Apparatus for coating the exterior of a pipe 12 with a foamable composition 10 or other liqiud comprises an annular chamber 1 with an inlet 3 connected to a metering device and an outlet slot 2 on its inner circumference. The wall 4 of the chamber is split at 5 and 6 and pivoted at 7 for the introduction of a pipe which is guided co-axially of the slot by a guide 11. Alternatively the apparatus may be moved along a stationary pipe.
