Abstract

1492099 Installation wiring arrangements SIEMENS AG 25 Sept 1975 [27 Sept 1974] 39416/75 Heading H2H A dental installation comprises an electric power distribution unit 14 including a power input connector, a number of output connectors for detachably connecting the unit to control devices and components of the installation, and a number of conductors 30-37 which interconnect selected output connectors with each other and/or with the power input connector thereby connecting the control devices and components to each other and/or to the power input connector. The unit 14 is constructed as a printed circuit board provided with the input and output connectors 19 on its periphery. A power supply 13 is connected to the unit by a line 28 and the conductors on the printed circuit board supply power to, or interconnect, appliances such as a motor driven drill 3, an ultrasonic handpiece 5, a block 18 for heating air and water supplies, a pilot lamp 11 for indicating the direction of rotation of the motor, a spray 4, a fluid supply control unit 15, a speed control 8 for the drill motor, and switches 12, 17.
