Abstract
1491788 Valves BENDIX CORP 6 Nov 1975 [29 Nov 1974] 46098/75 Heading F2V In a directional control valve having a spool 22 movable in a sleeve 20 the flow to and from the work ports 14, 16 are through stacks 50, 52 of annular apertured discs. The apertures of the discs in each stack communicate to give labyrinth-type flow passages while at least one disc in a stack has a slot extending between the radial inner and outer peripheries. Some of the apertures extend radially from either the inner or the outer periphery to give fluid access to the flow passages.
