1491533 Preparation of hydroperoxides OSRODEK BADAWCZO ROZWOJOWY KAUCZUKOW I TWORZYW WINYLOWYCH 8 March 1975 9763/75 Heading C2C A method of polymerization initiator comprises hydrogenating turpentine in the presence of a catalyst containing nickel, to form a product containing pinane and p-menthane and oxidizing the product to form hydroperoxides wherein the catalyst is nickel on a kaolin and silica carrier, the weight ratio of nickel : kaolin : silica being from (1-4) : (0À5- 2) : (0À5-2).
